By accessing or using isDisposable ("the Service"), including the website at isdisposable.com, the API, the dashboard, and the npm package, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
isDisposable provides:
@isdisposable/js) for offline disposable email detection, licensed under MITYou must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not create an account using a disposable or temporary email address. We reserve the right to suspend accounts created with fake credentials.
API usage is subject to the rate limits and monthly quotas of your plan:
| Plan | Monthly checks | Rate limit | API keys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 100 | 5/min | 1 |
| Pro ($9/mo) | 10,000 | 60/min | 1 |
| Business ($29/mo) | 100,000 | 120/min | 5 |
| Scale ($79/mo) | 500,000 | 300/min | Unlimited |
Exceeding rate limits or monthly quotas will result in HTTP 429 responses. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for abusive usage patterns.
You agree not to:
The npm package @isdisposable/js is released under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with the MIT License terms. The npm package is provided "as is" without warranty. The API service and dashboard are separate commercial products and are not covered by the MIT License.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Polar.sh (which uses Stripe). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We may perform maintenance with or without notice. For production use, we recommend implementing fallback logic (e.g., using the npm package as an offline fallback when the API is unavailable).
We make reasonable efforts to maintain an accurate and up-to-date disposable domain database. However, we do not guarantee 100% detection accuracy. Some disposable services may not be detected, and in rare cases, legitimate domains may be incorrectly flagged. Custom allowlist/blocklist rules are available on paid plans to address edge cases.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, isDisposable and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, lost profits, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Upon deletion, all your data (profile, API keys, logs, custom rules) is permanently removed.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive usage, or are created with fraudulent information, with or without notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
